割箸は江戸時代（1700～1800年頃）に奈良県の吉野地方で、酒樽づくりの端材や間伐材の活用方法として生まれました。日本人の「もったいない精神」が根底に流れるものと言えるでしょう。

These chopsticks are made from Yoshino cedar, a premium wood from Nara Prefecture, known for its beautiful grain.
The warm texture of the wood enhances the visual enjoyment of a meal, while the gentle, natural aroma of cedar is said to stimulate the appetite.

Each set includes 12 pairs of chopsticks, along with elegant decorative paper sleeves.
Please note that the color and pattern of the sleeves may vary and cannot be specified.

The packaging is available in four different designs, which can be selected at the time of purchase.

These wooden chopsticks are believed to have originated in the Yoshino region of Nara during the Edo period (1700–1800), created as a way to reuse leftover wood from sake barrel production and forest thinning.
They reflect the deeply rooted Japanese value of mottainai—the spirit of avoiding waste.

Ideal for everyday home use, gifts, or souvenirs for overseas visitors.
To use, simply pull the chopsticks apart into two separate sticks just before the meal.
